The objective of VoxVerus is to improve the communication between registered voters and their elected representatives or candidates for elected office.
VoxVerus is a social networking system using patent pending technology.
VoxVerus is composed of communities. Each community consists of an elected official or candidate for elected office and registered voters in that representative’s district.
VoxVerus is free to registered voters.
VoxVerus may modify, change, replace or terminate any or all of the services provided at any time without notice or liability to any user for any reason.
Qualified users include elected representatives and candidates for elected office and the registered voters within the representative’s or candidate’s district. If a registered voter moves to another district, that voter would be disqualified from the original district and qualified for the new district.
During the registration process the potential user will be required to supply enough information so that they can be matched to the public Voter Registration rolls. Additional information including a user selected user name, password and email address may be required.
VoxVerus may use information entered into the system to enhance the user’s experience, to improve system performance or to facilitate better communication between the user and the candidate or elected representative.
Contact information (phone numbers, email or street address) entered into the system will not be sold, traded rented, bartered or given to a third party without the consent of the user.
The user should assume that all postings enter the public domain.
Content is the sole responsibility of the user. Comments may be peer reviewed by other users selected at random. VoxVerus is not responsible for content or the
value of a rating that any content may receive.
Candidates and elected representatives may use the information and content provided by users to improve their performance as political representatives.
Participation in the VoxVerus system produces a rating associated with a user. This is a relative and qualitative measure of the user’s participation. Rating values are abstract and have no intrinsic or monetary value. VoxVerus may adjust system coefficients from time to time that may result in a change in the absolute value of a rating.
All right, title, and interest in and to VoxVerus (excluding Content provided by users) are and will remain the exclusive property of VoxVerus and its licensors. VoxVerus is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries. Nothing in the Terms gives you a right to use the VoxVerus name or any of the VoxVerus trademarks, logos, domain names, and other distinctive brand features. Any feedback, comments, or suggestions you may provide regarding VoxVerus is entirely voluntary and we will be free to use such feedback, comments or suggestions as we see fit and without any obligation to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VoxVerus and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, employees, partners ,and licensors will not be liable for any direct, indirect , incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, votes, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access or use or inability to use VoxVerus; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on VoxVerus, including without limitation, any defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct of other user or third parties; (iii) any content obtained from VoxVerus; (iv) errors in the public registered voter rolls, (v) identity theft by third parties; and (vi) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions, content or rating whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not VoxVerus has been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed its essential purpose.
These Terms and any action related thereto will be governed by the laws of the State of Idaho without regard to or application of its conflict of law provisions or your state or country of residence. All claims, legal proceedings or litigation arising in connection with the Services will be brought solely in Kootenai County,
Idaho, and you consent to the jurisdiction of and venue in such courts and waive any objection as to inconvenient forum. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a United States federal government entity that is legally unable to accept the controlling law, jurisdiction or venue clauses above, then those clauses do not apply to you but instead these Terms and any action related thereto will be will be governed by the laws of the United States of America (without reference to conflict of laws) and, in the absence of federal law and to the extent permitted under federal law, the laws of the State of Idaho (excluding choice of law).
This is the entire and sole agreement between VoxVerus and you. VoxVerus may, at its option enforce some or all of the rights or provisions of this agreement without waving any rights. If any portion of this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable then all other portions will remain in full force.
VoxVerus may revise and replace this agreement in the future. Revised agreements will be posted here.
